A Claremont native, Shanna grew up playing AYSO and Club soccer starting at age 7.  She helped Claremont High School win their first CIF title as a center mid-fielder.  For Claremont High, Shanna was a 3-time 1st Team All CIF selection and a High School All American.  From there she went on to play at the University of San Francisco on scholarship.  At USF, she was an Academic All-American and still holds scoring records for Assists (29), Goals (42), Solo Goals (17), and Points (113).  Shanna has also been inducted into the USF Hall of Fame and was honored at the Legends Dinner in 2005 for her contributions as an athlete at USF.  After College she went on to play 1st Division in Norway for Setskog Holand and then in the Women's Professional league in Japan (L-League) for Shiroki Serena.  Once back in the USA, Shanna played for the Nightmares in the USISL and for Ajax America in the WPSL.  Shanna has coached soccer at the High School and Club level.  She spent four years coaching with the Honolulu Bulls in Hawaii while earning a second Masters degree in Kinesiology.  On staff with the Club, she worked with the 87'-90' girls teams.  In 2000 she was able to help the HSC Bulls 89G go to Regionals after winning the State title.  In 1988, Shanna established the women's record for juggling a soccer ball with the Guinness Book of World Records.  She juggled for 3 hours and 6 minutes and made 16,696 touches on the ball.

Hailing from the Islands of Hawaii, Jacob grew up playing Select, Club, and High School soccer before joining AS Viaete, a Professional Club out of Tahiti that had a farm team in Honolulu.  He was also an All-League selection at Chaffey College while getting a few classes under his belt before moving on the UC Riverside to pursue his degree.  While continuing to play, Jacob's true passion turned to coaching at age 18, joining the Honolulu Bulls. Spending 10 years with the Club, Jacob developed teams that won state championships and put players into top Division 1 college programs.  His HSC Bulls 91' team won the state championship 7 straight years, also traveling to Surf Cup, Regionals, Nomads, and many other high profile College Showcase Tournaments each year.  Jacob also assisted on the first ever National Championship team from the state of Hawaii and the first team from Hawaii to get accepted and play in the Dallas Cup.  After moving to California in 2003, Jacob continued coaching with a few smaller Clubs, taking a U12 Bronze team and advancing them to the Gold division at U17 before landing on the Arsenal FC coaching staff.  After 4 years with the Club, Jacob stepped away from Club Soccer to join Shanna in coaching their 2 kids in AYSO. "When our kids started playing soccer, I knew it was time to step away from Club Soccer and invest in their soccer career."
